CPR & First Aid

Yesterday, my dd's and I took a first aid/CPR class. This has been something I have been wanting us to learn, especially the CPR. Having looked at classes that cost almost $100 to attend, I was blessed to have something for FREE, although it was not certified. I know others may not have this opportunity so I thought I would share some resources for being able to do this inexpensively:

You can order the Manikin and DVD here for $30, this will teach you child/adult, they also have an infant course for $45.

Here is a website I found for helping to teach first aid:

NOTE: Snuff's Girl whose husband is a fire fighter also left this comment, which I thought was good to know:

"Check with the fire dept in your area and ask them when they have CPR classes....

Quite a few of our firefighters are certified to teach CPR/First aid if you check with the FD they can probably get you in touch with some of these guys, find out where they are teaching and you should be able to go. FREE, or just the cost of the card which is 5-10 bucks."

The house in Grafton is in a town that has no zoning. That's primarily why we want to live there. You can live in the house while you fix it, fix it up the way you want- no rules. And a lot of the community doesn't care. There's a thing called the Free State Project. It's a Libertarian thing. Have you ever heard of it? We're register as Republican, but we've since switched over to being Libertarians. Now we can be friends, right? LOL!
