Assignment for week of September 10, 2007

A. Look at your “dream” place last week and using your creative juices and things in or around your home, CREATE a special place to blog. Most good writers have a location that is a comfort to them and makes their writing time enjoyable and productive. Share some quick ideas!

We are getting ready to go on a road trip and then when we return to go on vacation, so I wont have time to make my nook creative, I probably shouldnt even be blogging today, but since I need to eat lunch I will eat and blog at the same time. I am not a creative person nor do I have a laptop, so I can only blog where my computer is logged in, which is in the corner of the school room. I am a very practical person and since my home has been a constant construction & child zone since we moved in, I havent really decorated it (no wonder I have such a boring blog LOL). Some things I am able to view as I blog is the NGJ calendar which has pictures of happy families and some creative ideas. I also have a poster of a child dressed in the armor of God that I like to look at. I think for me neatness more than decor is an inspiration to me, while I live in a world of constant clutter (I declutter it moves back in with five children), I dont like clutter so for me having a clean desk would be more of an inspiration than a pretty pictures. When I do have a creative moment it is usually inspired from a walk in my garden or from something my children have done or said. I dont believe I have a gift for writing and what I do blog about comes from my life experience....so my suggestion is to live life...and (while I dont practice this) try to make your life experiences enjoyable for others to read.....a great example of this is the blog: Because I said so..

B. Once you have created that special place…SHARE A PICTURE of where you blog. Remember to be creative! {I REALLY look forward to seeing this creativity. Some of you last week shared some really neat imaginitative posts and I know that this will be a challenge!}

Not very inspiring I know (and I the top isnt very neat either. :( )
