Pregnancy Update

Well the results from my ultrasound are back and it doesn't look good. The baby's head was down, but not engage and its body was between being on a diagonal and transverse. The midwife is ready to transfer me over to one of her backup doctors and they want to do a c-section due to the risk of a prolapsed cord. My husband and I are praying to find out God's will in how we proceed with the pregnancy, please join us in this prayer. We are running short on time. What we are hoping for is that the baby's head will become engaged within the next few days so we can avoid all this and proceed with our "home" birth, as much as I hate the idea of having another hospital birth and c-section, I pray above all that God's will will be done and that we will not do anything that will harm the baby.

Thanks for your prayers.

Hey, I want to encourage you to stand fast and watch the deliverance of the Lord.

Philippians 4:6 Tells us not to be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

My favorite is also verse 7 that says that the peace of God which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Bring every thought captive, and focus on what is true, noble, right...Phil 4:8-9

Now if I could remember this every time something happens here and I get anxious I'd be doing much better myself.

I'll keep you in my prayers.

:-)
