God's Will Has No Why

This week I read "The Sound of Music: The Story of the Trapp Family Singers" by Maria Augusta Trapp. This is the book that inspired the movie/musical. The book is quite different than the movie. While it does start off in a convent in a Austria, it does go on to tell you what happens when they leave Austria and arrive in America. The thing that struck me the most was Maria's faith in God, how she seeks His will for her life and once she receives here answer, does not question it....but believe's the saying "God's will has no why!" When things are low and finances are almost non existent she shares how God has continually provided for them. She also has a great sense of humor and shares many funny stories that has happened to them along the way. I found the book to be very enjoyable and inspiring!
